Terms of use
By using PDF Tools you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.
The service
PDF Tools is a free set of tools to sign, fill and edit PDF files. We may add, change or remove features, and we try to give notice before removing anything you rely on.
Signing documents
The sign tool places an image of your handwritten signature on a document. This is a simple electronic signature. We do not verify anyone’s identity and do not issue certified or qualified digital signatures. Whether a signature is accepted for a particular document is for you and the other parties to decide.
Only sign as yourself, or on behalf of someone who has authorised you. Never use the service to forge a signature or to deceive anyone.
Acceptable use
Do not use PDF Tools for anything illegal, to infringe other people’s rights, or to attack or overload our systems. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your content
Your documents and signatures remain yours. We claim no rights over them. If you save items to your account, you allow us to store them only so we can show them back to you.
Your account
Keep access to your email and Google account secure, since they are how you sign in. You can delete your account at any time.
No warranty
The service is provided as is. We work hard to make it reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. Always keep your own copy of important documents.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by documents you create, sign or share with the service.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda, without taking away any protection your local consumer law gives you.
